I have several sessions to finish up this weekend and after the clients view their images you all will get a little peak into what all I’ve been capturing the last few weeks. I have had some awesome sessions lately!!

I’m also structuring my blogging and facebook post to reflect how I want my business to grow. One feature I’m going to add will be little informative post on photography and why it’s important to hire a professional. I hope this will help current and future clients in hiring me or someone else to capture their family treasures.

Well, I’ve been shooting sessions like crazy and loving every minute of it. I will have two senior sessions, a baby session and siblings with cousins session to post soon! They are really fantastic images.

These images are from mother’s day. I am truly blessed to have the parents I do and my mother is such an inspiration.

Rachel and Billy had a beautiful wedding at Steel Creek Lodge in Satsuma, AL. Her cakes were prepared by Speciality Cakes in Saraland, AL.
The day was extremely hot and humid but we were able to get out late in the evening and get was wonderful shots of them out by the water. Rachel and Billy, I wish y’all the very best!

Firework Weekend

We have had such a wonderful 4th of July. With the fourth being on Sunday several places decided to shoot their fireworks on Saturday, so we got a weekend full of fireworks! On Saturday night we were at Dixie Landing for the Community Care Organization 3rd Annual Fireworks Show and it was great! Then on Sunday we did our traditional trek through the woods to view Poarch’s annual fireworks show. We’ve been going on this little trek for 6 years now and I wouldn’t trade anything for it!!

I am very thankful to the Lord for allowing me to be here in the land of the FREE!! I know that my freedom (earthly) is paid for by the many men and women who put THEIR life on the line every day for you and I. I do not take that for granted! We live in the most wonderful country on earth!

To the men and women of the armed forces Thank You just isn’t enough, but it’s what we have to offer. I pray for your safety and quick return to your families.

Rachel and Billy Are Getting Married Today!!!!

I have so enjoyed capturing Rachel and Billy for their engagements and then Rachel for her bridals. The humidity the day we shot Rachels’ Bridals was through the roof!! But she handled it like any true Southern Belle!! When you grow up with humidity you just deal with it. The sash was Billys’ idea and I think it’s the perfect touch. Today at 5:00p.m. they become husband and wife, here are a few Bridal favs to enjoy until the wedding images.

As photographers I think it’s important that we shoot images just for fun or for ourselves. I like odd, old, rustic images. I like out of the box images. Anything that makes you think. Or an image that represents the world as it really is. Of course I also love a beautiful portrait.

Start a 365 day project, shoot everyday. Have I shot everyday, almost. I have missed a day or two but I get back in it the next day. The thing is to shoot for you to improve your eye and skills.
