I’ve been getting so caught up in how behind I am I’m losing focus.

First and foremost I want to honor God! He is my life and my salvation. I want to show His love and mercy through my photography.

I want to show people how uniquely beautiful they really are!

I want to make people’s eyes light up and their faces glow with joy and excitement when they see their photos!

I want to make people cry… in a good way!

Most importantly I want to help people remember. Remember someones’ laugh, their dimple, the way they talked and loved. I don’t want people to ever forget someone special, someone they loved.

This is my Dad and his Mom, my Mawmaw also known as Tessie.

The kids in this photo are so very special to me, their also family.

First off, I totally forgot about my last post. I had a good guess but it’s a smaller pine tree. I thought it was unusual and looked like a spider web.

I was just playing around with my resident model and just had to share this shot. If you know her mother then please let me know if this looks like her to you. To me it is so Carlie!

This is the sunrise I woke to this morning.

This just looks so cold to me, but it’s still beautiful! :)

We had a wonderful birthday party today. I took over 400 pictures!! I can’t post any of them due to the birthday girls are children. But let’s just say, I got some really good shots!

I had such a good time playing with this little fella. He is such a happy baby and so willing to let me take all the photos I want. Here are a few of my favorites, tell me what you think.

Well, I took these a few months ago but couldn’t post them because they were a Christmas present for our parents. I thought they turned out rather well. I got them up at the crack of dawn, :) but that’s when the best light is. There was a heavy dew so I didn’t get any pictures on the ground like I had wanted but we made do.

I absolutely love old houses and barns. This particular house is close to where I grew up. I have many fond memories of this place. Not that I did anything here, it’s just part of that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you look back on your childhood.

For about an hour one morning I just walked around the place and took pieces of memories. Someone comes and cuts the grass but that’s about it. The doors don’t slam anymore and smoke doesn’t rise through the chimney. But it gives me a glimpse back to riding down a dirt road and a feeling of home.
