Yes, my mind is just spinning with new ideas!! Sometimes it’s good, sometimes well…. anyway, this will be good. This week has been crazy but that’s fine, we only get one shot at this wonderful life. Some changes for the blog I want to make are going to be 1. to start showcasing vendors. There are some amazing people working hard to make sure that your wedding day, graduation party, etc is out of this world and I’d like to give them proper props. 2. Sharing my favorite Bible verse. One of the reasons I started this business was to glorify God. He has brought me through so much I can never give him proper props! 3. Get to Know – I’m going to kick this off but I’m going to interview my Model Reps and different clients. This should really be fun. So stay tuned theres lots coming…..

I have so much going on this week. Hopefully I’ll be able to share next week but until then. We have two absolutely beautiful granddaughters. The oldest follows Paw Paw Terry everywhere. She is a Paw Paws girl. I couldn’t resist the photo below, she had to have her boots right next to Paw Paws.

I was trying to get some shots to upload for a contest. With my schedule didn’t make the deadline, oh well. Had fun playing around and finally processing them. My model is very familiar to my site and she will be graduating next year! Wow, where did time go. So I thought it would also be a good time to start practicing for her shoots. Well, little miss giggle box was definitely turned over!! I had a certain look in mind for the shoot, but she did too! Here’s one that I love the emotion, she really looks like she is looking for rain. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky.

Well today I hit 100 fans on Facebook! I had a little contest that once I hit 100 I’d give away a $25 gift card. The winner has been selected and notified. It was a lot of fun watching the numbers rise. Now I know 100 is a drop in the bucket compare to what most people have, but hey, I’m getting there!
I am so excited to post this treasure for so many reasons. This is from a baby session last year. We had to go for a second session to get this shot and still almost didn’t. But thanks to the quick actions of Mama, we got the shot. Check it out, it’s one of my favs.

I’m pretty excited right now. When I was growing up my Maw Maw had a set of bible story books. One book was real pretty children stories. One of the stories was about the Pink Tree. It told how the tree would change colors with the seasons. I loved this story. Somewhere along the way we lost this book. We still have the others but oddly this book disappeared. Someone else apparently loved the book as much as I did.
Well, I think I have found a new set and I hope to replace our beloved book.
This tulip tree makes me think of the story of the Pink Tree. If I get the book you’ll see these photos again!

I’ve been getting so caught up in how behind I am I’m losing focus.
First and foremost I want to honor God! He is my life and my salvation. I want to show His love and mercy through my photography.
I want to show people how uniquely beautiful they really are!
I want to make people’s eyes light up and their faces glow with joy and excitement when they see their photos!
I want to make people cry… in a good way!
Most importantly I want to help people remember. Remember someones’ laugh, their dimple, the way they talked and loved. I don’t want people to ever forget someone special, someone they loved.
This is my Dad and his Mom, my Mawmaw also known as Tessie.

The kids in this photo are so very special to me, their also family.

Well baseball season is in full swing and it gives me lots of photos opos, One item I always photograph a lot at the games is our Flag. I’m proud to be an American, and I love our Flag. Its really interesting the different shapes the wind can mold it into. This is one of my favorites from the last game. I thought it turned out really cool.

First off, I totally forgot about my last post. I had a good guess but it’s a smaller pine tree. I thought it was unusual and looked like a spider web.
I was just playing around with my resident model and just had to share this shot. If you know her mother then please let me know if this looks like her to you. To me it is so Carlie!
