Snow – Southern Style
Posted on February 13, 2010
Yes more snow. It snowed almost all day yesterday. What was odd to me was while it was snowing it really wasn’t that cold. I’m a very cold natured person and I didn’t get real cold until it quit. Today it’s FREEZING!!! We still have snow, but it’s crunchy and melting. While I was at the creek snapping away I could hear the branches cracking, breaking and crashing to the ground. Some of the photos below I took trying to capture just how fast the snow was falling. I don’t think they do it justice. You just had to be here. It was truly amazing to watch. Here is a long post from yesterday.

These snow pictures are the greatest. Dad loves the cotton patch. These would make great cards.
Thanks Tina, We enjoyed it, but glad it’s gone.
Wow Christy, these are great shots. We only got a light dusting that was gone before I had a chance to even snap a few shots. I wish we had got this much!
Great pics girl! I will save this and browse later when I get return to work.
Thanks y’all! It was pretty, sort of glad it’s gone.
it was cold.
Beautiful!! We didn’t get any snow here but 3 hours north of here I saw some in SC. Not this much, though! It’s breathtaking!
Beautiful as always…..I love the one of Terry trying to catch a snow flake I assume lol. We tried bbut it is harder than I thought it would be. We had 5-6 inches at our house. we had a blast!!!
Beautiful, Christy! I was at my Mom’s in B’ham area and had the great pleasure of sharing a beautiful snow with her. Got lots of pics myself, some actually pretty good–for me anyway!
