Losing Focus

Posted on March 9, 2010

I’ve been getting so caught up in how behind I am I’m losing focus.

First and foremost I want to honor God! He is my life and my salvation. I want to show His love and mercy through my photography.

I want to show people how uniquely beautiful they really are!

I want to make people’s eyes light up and their faces glow with joy and excitement when they see their photos!

I want to make people cry… in a good way!

Most importantly I want to help people remember. Remember someones’ laugh, their dimple, the way they talked and loved. I don’t want people to ever forget someone special, someone they loved.

This is my Dad and his Mom, my Mawmaw also known as Tessie.

The kids in this photo are so very special to me, their also family.

Stars and Stripes

Posted on March 7, 2010

Well baseball season is in full swing and it gives me lots of photos opos, One item I always photograph a lot at the games is our Flag. I’m proud to be an American, and I love our Flag. Its really interesting the different shapes the wind can mold it into. This is one of my favorites from the last game. I thought it turned out really cool.

Just like Her Mama

Posted on March 4, 2010

First off, I totally forgot about my last post. I had a good guess but it’s a smaller pine tree. I thought it was unusual and looked like a spider web.

I was just playing around with my resident model and just had to share this shot. If you know her mother then please let me know if this looks like her to you. To me it is so Carlie!

Out and about

Posted on February 28, 2010

I take photos and I drive people crazy with it. It’s rare to see me without a camera or at least have one in my car. I love nature and the outdoors so I have a LOT of shots of nature. Here are a couple that I just love how the light was falling through the trees.

This photo is not of a spider web, if you look closely it’s actually a _________________________. Cool huh!

This is my trusty companion Max. If I go walking, he goes. If I’m in the front of the house, he’s on the front porch. If I’m in the back of the house he’s at the back door. He’s a huge baby.

Posted on February 24, 2010

I named this Glowing Session because we seemed to just hit the sun perfect with each setup. This young lady is super sweet and the camera just loves her.

Senior Portraits in Camo!!

Posted on February 20, 2010

I love it when Seniors want to wear or bring something that is totally them! This Senior loves the outdoors and to hunt so camo was a natural fit! And the pearls added the perfect touch.

Snow – Southern Style

Posted on February 13, 2010

Yes more snow. It snowed almost all day yesterday. What was odd to me was while it was snowing it really wasn’t that cold. I’m a very cold natured person and I didn’t get real cold until it quit. Today it’s FREEZING!!! We still have snow, but it’s crunchy and melting. While I was at the creek snapping away I could hear the branches cracking, breaking and crashing to the ground. Some of the photos below I took trying to capture just how fast the snow was falling. I don’t think they do it justice. You just had to be here. It was truly amazing to watch. Here is a long post from yesterday.

Snow!! In South Alabama!

Posted on February 12, 2010

Wow, it’s been forever since we’ve since the damp white stuff. We have snow every year in October, but it’s cotton! :) It’s really coming down, something we’re not use to here. As you can see from a photo below, my Max is not at all amused! Everyone enjoy this snow today, it’s gone this evening!
